“Three Good Friends & a Hungry Dog” (3D Animated Short Film)
Based on a Sarawak folktale, this project was a collaboration with TV Sarawak (TVS) and the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP).
Our team embarked on this ambitious project with a clear creative vision: to craft a 3D animation with a stylized 2D storybook aesthetic, evoking the warmth and familiarity of a illustrated tale. Over the course of eight months, we navigated complex technical and artistic challenges, reinforcing the fact that achieving a stylized 2D look requires meticulous effort and innovation.

Despite the hurdles, our team remained determined and resourceful, pushing the boundaries of what we could accomplish in Blender. By February 2025, we delivered the project, gaining invaluable insights that will fuel our growth in future productions.
This experience has inspired us to further refine our approach, and we look forward to applying these lessons to future projects with even greater artistic ambition.
“Three Good Friends & a Hungry Dog” was produced entirely using Blender.
